The rooms at Sima Inn are super cozy and equipped with air conditioning, perfect for a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. I loved the free WiFi, which allowed me to easily share my travel adventures with friends and family. Having a private bathroom in each room was such a convenience, and the shower was always nice and hot. Some rooms even come with a fully-equipped kitchen, making it easy to whip up a quick meal if you don't feel like eating out. The flat-screen TV in the room was a great addition for some evening relaxation.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the view from the triple room I stayed in. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others might still enjoy it.

Simple and pleasant guest house near temple walk. Adequate storage space, fridge and nice shower. Modern accommodation in picturesque area. Grungy, 'Showa Era' vibe. Traditional Japanese room with great decor. Bonus: Delicious hot-pot dish at izakaya. Would recommend to friends.

I recently stayed at a lovely modern ryokan in a quirky neighborhood. The property had a cool, modern Japanese design that I really enjoyed. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and provided clear communication throughout my stay. Despite the shared toilets, which could have been better indicated, I had a pleasant experience overall. The location was ideal for exploring Onomichi, one of the more picturesque areas I've seen in Japan. I would definitely stay at this ryokan again and recommend it to my friends. I had a great time at Sima Inn.

The location of the hotel is ideal, being really close to the city center and just a short taxi or bus ride from the train station. There are plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for dining options. The rooms are nice and clean, with comfortable beds and water bottles provided.
The check-in process can be confusing and there is no staff available for assistance, which can be a downside for guests needing help or clarification.

The value for our money at this hidden gem was exceptional. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a unique modern-Japanese fusion design. The location was in a charming village with hospitable locals and the staff at Sima Inn were friendly and provided clear communication.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast option better was a wider variety of choices.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The stylish design with a Japanese traditional taste was jaw-dropping. The room we stayed in, spacious, clean, and cozy, was a pleasant surprise. The self check-in system, although a bit challenging, added to the unforgettable experience. Plus, they provided a coupon for local restaurants. The owners were super helpful, with clear instructions to find them and excellent English. We enjoyed the free wi-fi, the beautiful outdoor dining area, and the flat-screen TV. Having an electric kettle and cookware/kitchen utensils was a great convenience. And the best part? No pets allowed, air conditioning, and strictly no smoking on-site. Such a fantastic stay!
